GRAY: Yes, it's the new Black!
You should know that gray is THE COLOR to buy in Fall/Winter 2007.
Structured & interesting shapes, patent accessories, even the new knits - all found in shades of gray (from silver to gunmetal grey).
The grays this season didn't automatically translate into boring.
Rich hues such as charcoal and anthracite were offered in luxe fabrics and sexy silhouettes- many with intriguing details like beading and crystals.
Major colors this season include also greens, burnt orange (metallic sheen), plaid & houndstooth, and the continuation of the summer trend of multi-colored patterns

Where to find sales on trendy plus-size teens/juniors fashions
As a plus sized woman, I can tell you it's not always easy to find nice clothes that fit. Too often plus sized people get stuck wearing clothes they don't really like because they fit them. I found some good places to get plus sized clothes for women, men, and teens. Some of them are having special sales for April. What is really nice about purchasing clothes on line is the convenience. Not only do you not have to spend hours on your feet, going from store to store, you can actually shop from a chair, in the comfort of your own home. This helps the environment and saves you a lot of gas money as well. It is so easy and so much better than breaking your back being on your feet for hours on end.Best of all, most all websites offer ways to sort clothes, so you can sort them by size, if you please, so you don't fall in love with something only to discover it doesn't come in your size. If you are looking for tops, or bottoms, or dresses, you can click tops, and only see tops, and so on. Once you find an item you like, you can click the scroll bar to select a color and size and see if it is available.Aside from my favorite stores, Goodwill and Salvation Army, shopping on line is a lot less expensive than shopping in the stores. Especially since most websites have a clearance section you can click on to get items super cheap! There is often some sort of special deal going on as well, if you spend some time looking at the first page you will usually discover a code you can put in to save even more money.

Where does fashion come from? Does it matter?
Even if you say you don't care about fashion and don't dress to make a statement, you are making a statement (that you don't care about fashion).
Why care about fashion?
Most people pay attention to fashion in small doses which is a very healthy way to approach it. They make sure wardrobes are in step with the times and even indulge in a trend or two each season.
A few reasons why fashion is still relevant:
It shows your thinking is modern and flexible (e.g. willing to accept and process new ideas).
Fashion has escapist qualities to help you deal with the pressures of the world (For example: your country may be at war, but you've "escaped" by dressing in the season's fluffy ruffles that make you look like you don't have a care in the world).
Everything you put on sends a message.
Why are most designer clothes so outrageous?
Fashion has almost nothing to do with good taste: it is a force that is beyond such practical considerations.
The clothes that are presented at the fashion shows are often exaggerations of a theme. Some designers such as John Galliano (Christian Dior) go to great lengths to present extravagant looks that no one in their right mind would wear on the street.
These collections are part marketing (to grab media and consumer interest in a designer line) and part artistic expression.
By the time they reach the stores, most looks are edited by buyers to be salable (hemlines dropped an inch or two, elements of the original look are put onto more understandle pieces, etc.).
So just keep in mind that what ever you decide to wear you are still make a statement for style.
